Julia Robertson, Associate, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

My goal is to build a strong therapeutic alliance and create a safe space for clients to experience self-reflection and positive change through the use of empathy and unconditional positive regard. In my counselling practice, I draw from solution focused techniques, CBT interventions, and mindfulness in order to work with individuals facing various challenges including stress, anxiety, relationship issues, OCD, depression, and grief.

I welcome the opportunity to work with children ages (10+) in addition to adults. My previous work experience teaching dance and preschool during my undergraduate years has given me invaluable experience working with children. I also completed an internship placement at Jennifer Rogers Therapy Services providing individual therapy services.

I obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ryerson University and have completed the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University.  My personal time is usually spent going for walks outside, connecting with friends and family, traveling, attending fitness classes, and completing puzzles. I look forward to meeting new clients and hope that together we can achieve positive and long-lasting change.

Please contact Jennifer to schedule with Julia. Julia offers in services through phone or video and her rate of service is 145 plus HST.

Danielle Leacock-Pelletier, Clinical Intern, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Lifes' challenges can be hard to navigate on our own, and reaching out for support can be daunting. With that in mind, I strive to foster an environment where clients feel safe to share their experiences and engage in meaningful self-reflection. I am passionate about providing effective and evidence-based therapeutic interventions to empower clients to reach their goals and get the most out of their lives.

I have worked in the mental health field for over 10 years and have seen the value in sharing the mental and emotional load with a supportive professional. My approach to counselling is holistic in nature, taking into account the whole of the individual and their unique story.  I believe each individual is unique and therefore requires an individualized treatment plan. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults but welcome the opportunity to work with all ages (10+). My primary areas of focus are anxiety, depression, stress, relational issues, managing and thriving with ADHD, addiction support, and trauma.

I have a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree with a focus on Addictions Counselling from Lethbridge University and am completing the Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology Program at Yorkville University. In my spare time I enjoy getting outdoors, connecting with friends, traveling to new places, cross stitching and bingeing my favorite shows. I look forward to connecting with you and look forward to working together towards your unique therapeutic goals. Danielle offers sliding scale spots and reduced fee spots.
